I am a senior Visual Arts student with a minor in Theatre. I want to have the freedom to create and bring things to life. The idea of creating life out of nothing has always fascinated me. Ideas and thoughts being brought to life by comics, drawings, or on stage performances. My dream is to bring people's creations and my own to life. I admit I'm not really a designer in the traditional sense. I'm more of an illustrator or a character designer. I hope to one day have a career in comics or animation, and inspire the next generation of artists to chase their goals.

A Rose
This piece started as a vent piece to culminate the feelings of stress overtaking someone's life. A beautiful girl that is a personified rose is being overtaken by her own vines as thorns uncontrollably rip through her skin. All she can do is helplessly stare out at you knowing that she is helpless in her situation.

Ocean kids
Two characters from an animation project about a mermaid and a young prince who have a misunderstanding about the human need for oxygen. These two characters have rigged puppets but I was not exactly sure how to document that as it was a motion capture puppet. I thought the best way would just show the characters and explain.

Into the deep is a booklet where you join Marina on a voyage to the bottom of the ocean. This was my senior capstone project and intense research came from it, so much so that it was co-authored by my partner so I could focus primarily on the art. Take a dive into the booklet and enjoy.
